Could you get more glamorous or Mad Men – like??!! This is a set of 6 Gold Fleck martini cocktail glasses by Dorothy C. Thorpe circa 1950’s. Definitely pure mid century modern! Ms. Thorpe, like her contemporaries George Briard and Fred Press, designed but did not manufacture her stunning creations. Her wonderful designs were created using sandblasting, silver overlay and paint speckel on simple blank glassware from U.S. and European manufacturers. These martini stems are part of a much larger set of barware / cocktailware we have listed. This set of 6 martini glasses are marked with Dorothy C. Thorpe’s ” dTc ” sandblasted signature. This set of 6 martinis are in wonderful vintage condition, no chips, cracks or chiggers. There must be some wear as you would expect for their age but I haven’t found any yet!
