Description

Wow! Just wow! These are at once mid-century modern and timeless. This 13-piece dessert set or hors d’oeuvres set is comprised of one square glass serving plate or platter and 12 small square glass plates. The pattern is call Forbidden Fruit, but these pieces only have the border pattern all over and do not have the center fruit. I have seen this called Forbidden Fruit Border – All Over but I don’t know if that is official. They are in the clear and gold coloration on the bent glass form and are simply stunning.

Georges Briard which is a nom de plume for Jascha Brojdo was a Polish born American award-winning designer from the 1950s-1970s. Even being awarded the Frank S. Child Lifetime Achievement Award by The Society of Glass and Ceramic Decorators in 2004. His signature collections were stocked at noted department stores, such as Neiman Marcus and Bonwit Teller.

This set will be perfect. It will be perfect at your next cocktail party or birthday celebration. Just make it yours!
