Well, that’s what happened when we laid our eyes on this stunning Hollywood Regency French Provincial gilded gondola bench attributed to Prince Howard Furniture. We HAD to have it to offer to you. It came with several other pieces in a matching set that are marked by the Prince Howard Furniture Company in Kansas City, Missouri. It is comprised of a gorgeous, gilded wood finish with carved, swirled out arms and feet and other lovely carved designs including a center floral etching. It wears its original beige and golden brocade fabric with diamond button tuck detail. It will be wonderful with purely ornate French Provincial décor, Hollywood Regency, or even a Boho Chic room, or in juxtaposition mixed with your modern and mid-century modern pieces. We think this beauty also has a bit of Italian flair. It is going to be FABULOUS at the end of your bed, but you could also use it as extra seating in your living room, maybe against a wall, in the hall entry or dining room under a window, or parallel to your fireplace…Have a big bay window? Phenomenal Hollywood Regency or French Provincial upholstered gilded gondola bench attributed to Prince Howard Furniture. Original beige and golden brocade fabric and giltwood finish. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. We have noticed on close inspection a couple very small fray spots in the fabric. Please see photos and zoom in for details. We attempt to portray any imperfections. Circa, 1960’s.
