Late 20th to Early 21st Century Chinoiserie Horseshoe Yoke Back Black Lacquer Chair Ming Style Legs Made in China

The frame is comprised of a sultry black lacquer finished hardwood embellished with intricately hand painted Asian designs, figures, flowers, trees, and scenes trimmed with gold lines. The detail and colors in the paintings are phenomenal!!! And the design on the back of the splat is carved from hard stone! It has an incredible horseshoe yoke back, and a unique feature having spindles with wonderful gold painted details on both sides of the center back splat and sides curved up under the arms. It has fabulous, curved Ming style legs and the seat cushion is covered in a stunning Damask fabric with a champaign base color and beautiful golden cherry blossom floral details. It will look exquisite as a side or accent chair in a Chinoiserie, Oriental, Asian, Hollywood Regency, or Mid-Century Modern setting but it’s attractive enough to stand on its own in any room.
