Incredible Lightcraft of California mid-century modern black and brass chandelier or ceiling light with 6 cascading smoke glass orb shaped globes of equal size and brass star canopy. It is in fabulous vintage condition. The brass has been cleaned and you may find small signs of age but nothing outstanding. We have found no flaws in the glass orbs. The wiring has been checked and is in good working order. This fixture is ready to hang. Please see photos. Circa 1960s-1970s.

Description

This Lightcraft of California chandelier, along with a similar but not identical one, has been hanging around (pun intended) our shop for a bit. I’ve been admiring it and trying to decide if I could stand to let it go. After enjoying it for a time, I’ve decided it’s time to share. Both fixtures are listed for sale. This one is comprised of a brass many armed star or sun-ray shaped (actually it looks a bit like one of the George Nelson clocks) flush-mount canopy from which six brass chains hang at various cascading lengths from 12 inches to 24 inches. Each chain has a three-candle brass chandelier attached with a cap at the top which holds in place a smoke glass orb globe. Each globe is 9.5 inches in diameter. This chandelier is simply stunning. It will be perfect in an entryway or stairwell. And incredible in a bath from a vaulted ceiling! I’m sure you will love this light fixture as much as I do. I’m anxious now for it to find a new permanent home. Make it yours!
