Gorgeous mid-century modern chartreuse crushed velvet club chair or lounge chair in the style of Paul McCobb.  Comprised of angled tapered wooden legs, brass colored metal feet, and it’s wearing its original chartreuse crushed velvet fabric with 4 button detail in its tight back and a loose seat cushion. Gorgeous condition with wear as you would expect from a vintage piece. There are a couple very small spots in the top seam of the back where the stitching has come loose but we have repaired with a little fabric glue. Please see photos. Circa 1950-1960’s.

This awesome mid-century modern chartreuse velvet lounge chair is similar to styles by Paul McCobb, with its deep seat, extended arms, and tapered, angled wood legs with walnut finish and brass colored metal feet. Let’s talk about this ORIGINAL crushed velvet fabric! In a most spectacular shade of chartreuse green!! It is practically flawless! It has a crushed, textured feel to the velvet, and it’s unusual in a way that it almost has a chameleon effect under certain lighting. Under some lighting it is just as chartreuse as can be and then in different lighting it almost has a golden tint….and it seems to change the look depending on which direction the texture of the velvet flows…  it’s just gorgeous!! It has a loose seat cushion and a tight back cushion with 4 button detail. Its style is stunning, and its comfort is incomparable! We can just imagine relaxing in this cozy club chair in a living room, sitting room, or a convenient spot to sit in your master bedroom.
