What a fabulous and versatile pair of mid-century modern Lawson style sofas! One is a three-cushion regular length sofa and one is a two-cushion love seat length. Placed perpendicular to each other and with an end table between they make an incredible L-shaped sectional sofa. Or face them for a nice parallel view. Or float them in a room placed perpendicular again but with a pair of chairs opposite the sofa or a single and a table opposite the love seat! So many ways to create a comfy conversation or lounging area in your home. They feature the round cylindrical legs so indicative of the stylings of Harvey Probber but, alas, they have no tags. I believe they have been reupholstered at some point in their life since the 1960s, but you still may choose to recover. They are priced as such. Their classic Lawson shape is so transitional and allows them to blend with many different design styles. From mid-century modern to traditional and modern country to industrial they will grace any room you choose beautifully. You must make the pair yours!
Mid Century Modern Sofa & Love Seat Pair Gold Lawson Style After Harvey Probber 1960

Handsome pair of Lawson style sofas, one three-cushion sofa and one two-cushion love seat, upholstered in a beautiful gold small geometric pattern. Styled after famed designer Harvey Probber with his signature cylindrical walnut feet. They are in wonderful vintage condition. We have had them professionally cleaned. One cushion was missing from the love seat, so we had a new cushion made taking the fabric to do so from the bottoms of the other love seat cushion and one of the sofa cushions. Therefore, three cushions have a contrasting fabric on their underside so are not flippable. You may wish to recover. It is priced accordingly. Please see photos. Circa 1960-1969.
