Mid-Century Modern Stylized Rattan Rocking Horse

A horse is a horse, of course of course, but no one has a horse like OUR rocking horse!! You singing now? Gotta love Mr. Ed!! Hey Y’all…. Isn’t this rattan rocking horse FABULOUS?? Well, we certainly think so. It is a mid-century modern stylized horse created completely of rattan…others have attributed similar styles like this one to Franco Albini however, we were unable to confirm those findings and we think this guy is wonderful either way. So, he has a snowshoe shaped seat and a rattan handle through the stylized head. The horse is mounted upon a bow shaped rocker and is stabilized with rattan ties. It has five rattan bars which double as footrests and a little extra stability for the youngster who may get a little carried away with speed-rocking! And, although it’s obviously a fun and unique toy for a young child, it has possibilities for multiple uses. He’s mid-century modern in style but he also has an Organic modern and Scandinavian flair so he will blend in nicely with many different styles. Wouldn’t it be a fantastic centerpiece on a large display table in a children’s boutique?  Also, it could be a fun spot to place a plant, or it would easily fit in with a collection of vintage dolls and toys. He has so much potential! We are smitten with this rattan stylized rocker… There’s no need to horse-around any longer…Giddy up and make it yours!!
