Handsome mid century Scandinavian modern rectangular extending dining table of gorgeous and warm teak with draw leaf extensions. It is marked made in Denmark and is in overall fabulous condition. It is sturdy, and its finish has been restored to its full glory; however, there still may be some minor flaws due to age. And, due to being closed for most of its life and not being exposed to the sunlight, I assume, the leaves are darker than the rest. Circa 1960s-1980s.

Description

This is the perfect dining table for small spaces! It is compact yet will seat four to six people when closed and six to eight when fully extended, depending upon chair width. The table top, aprons, and leaves are comprised of solid wood with teak veneer and the round turned and tapered legs are solid teak. It features two retractable draw leaf extensions which slide in and out easily and store simply beneath the top. Although considered mid-century modern, Scandinavian Modern, or Danish Modern in design and typically used for those interior design styles, I can visualize this table mixed with an industrial or modern country design styles as well. You just need to make this beautiful simple table yours and put your imagination to work.
