Description

Holy moly!! This set is so awesome. If you are looking for a bar for your rec room, loft, or man cave, look no further! Made in the 1960s-1970s by Brothers of Kentucky it is in incredible condition. We have done some work on the unique upholstery to preserve it. Little patches here and there but we think it is usable and so cool. The set is comprised of a whiskey barrel which is cut apart to make wings that support a padded laminate bar top and provide storage for liquor and barware. The inside is upholstered in a black vinyl that goes along with the wonderful multi-colored on black patchwork diamond pattern Naugahyde upholstery beautifully. The barstools are comprised of a smaller barrel that is cut down to accommodate the padding and vinyl upholstery of the back and seat. Plus, they swivel and have a footrest. An ad for Brothers in the Daily News from Port Angeles, Washington circa 1975 said: Formal and fussy furnishings are fine for company…but for the kids and dad to really relax…well, you need something like this from BROTHERS of Kentucky. Built for fun, built for comfort, built to last! Don’t wonder where the kids are…they’ll be having fun at home. Don’t hesitate. You need to make this marvelous barrel bar and barstools yours.
