Sometimes you just need a “go anywhere” cabinet. THIS is that cabinet. As a matter of fact, it can even go on a wall!!! Well, within a wall unit, but still… THAT’S versatility!! This is a marvelous vintage Scandinavian Modern cabinet comprised of a teak frame with five graduated drawers that feature lovely, sculpted teak pulls and incredible wood grain that matches up beautifully on the drawer fronts. We obtained this wonderful piece with no base or legs. We chose to add an attractive, freshly painted black plinth base, but you can easily change that if you prefer a different look. It has an area under the cabinet where you could add four individual legs or maybe you have a wall system in need of a cabinet? Great! We believe that was the original use of this piece although we aren’t exactly sure how it attached to its prior wall unit, but we assume it most likely sat upon brackets or a shelf within said unit. It would also be wonderful as a nightstand beside your bed, in a dressing area, holding a sculpture or table lamp in the study, or as a free-standing cabinet in any room. Lovely Mid to Late 20th Century Scandinavian Modern teak cabinet with 5 graduated drawers, sculpted teak pulls, & a newly added black painted plinth base. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. One handle was missing a large chip of teak, so our experienced staff has carved a new handle to replace it. We also added a fabulous black painted plinth base to this cabinet so it can be used free-standing rather than included in a wall unit.
