Description

Don’t you just LOVE Lucite?? Who doesn’t?? And this modern pair of Lucite side chairs is no exception. They are WONDERFUL and rather mysterious!!! SO, there is an ongoing debate amongst designers that this style chair was designed by or could be attributed to the iconic Charles Hollis Jones. However, in our research, we have discovered that his design was a bit different with the waterfall arms being more squared or flattened rather than rounded like these. We just haven’t found a definitive answer to commit to that attribution although we have found that Leon Rosen for The Pace Collection has similar rounded horseshoe style arms like these. We are confident with this attribution. Either way, they are absolutely awesome and ready to be upholstered in whatever your favorite fabric may be. They are wearing their original right now and we have priced accordingly. The seat and back float beautifully between their fabulous Lucite rounded horseshoe or waterfall style arms-legs combo making it seem they are just hanging in space. They would be beautiful as captain’s chairs at your dining table or side chairs in a living or sitting room. They are versatile enough to go just about anywhere you choose to use them.

The Pace Collection was founded by Irving and Leon Rosen in New York City as a high-end contemporary furniture company which was in business from 1960 to 2001. They offered their fine furniture and services to the contract interior design trade. Their designs were purposefully and distinctly different from Knoll, Herman Miller, Steelcase, and other renowned contract furniture companies. Their line of furniture was known for their rich and exotic wood veneers, high-gloss finishes, and shiny metals. Most pieces were made in limited editions or specifically for their elite customers.

We couldn’t wait to offer these wonderful Lucite waterfall style side chairs to you…now, you just need to make them yours!!
