We obtained a large collection of antique Turkish or Ottoman copper pieces of which this is but one. This awesome round bottom bowl is one of my favorite pieces. It has a lovely hand carved design around the outside of its wonderful bulbous shape. It is stamped on its lip Subasi. Which from research we know can be a person, a place, or a title. Our research also lets us date this piece to mid-1800s to mid-1900s. This bowl would be beautiful filled with lemons on your kitchen counter. You need to make it yours.
