Pair Antique Chinoiserie Hand Painted Demilune Console Tables

You must have this stunning pair of antique hand painted demilune console tables! These Chinoiserie demilune console tables with their interesting half-moon shape and gorgeous cabriole legs ending with the great little ball detail, are an awesome pair. These tables started life in a breakfast room as you can see in the black and white original photo we have of this fabulous dining set when it was new and residing at the home of its original owner at 1225 W. Market, Akron, Ohio. Then, around 1950, the original owner’s daughter moved the set to her home, see the photo with the turquoise wall. I think it is so interesting to have the historical photos, don’t you?  Whether you use these fabulous little demilune tables as they were intended in a dining room; or, use them in an entry hall, living room or as bedroom nightstands, the hand painted Chinoiserie design is just perfect, not too fussy and just enough to give them an elegant yet sassy and maybe a little sexy look. Not marked but made in a similar style to pieces by Wallace Nutting in the 1920’s.
