Wow! Take a good look at these wonderful vintage chairs made by the Prince Howard Furniture Company in Kansas City, Missouri. They are the epitome of Hollywood Regency!! They have opposing single arms which are formed by the back rail swooping down and around to end as the arm of this cool chair. The armless side of the back begins with a curl reminiscent of the curl on an ice cream cone. This pair of vintage Hollywood Regency single armed chairs are beautiful to look at with their original antique painted finish and damask upholstery; and, contrary to the way they look, incredibly comfortable. Their condition is very sturdy and just worn enough to give them the ultimate patina. They could use a new dustskirt and a little shampoo and then I’d leave them just the way they are……a perfect pair for a boudoir (that’s fancy for bed room), walk-in closet, entry, stairway landing, or anyplace you need a unique pair of chairs. They look like they just stepped off of a Hollywood movie set!
