The 1188 chair by Milo Baughman is touted as being his favorite chairs. He even chose it to use in the home of his business partner Thayer Coggin. The Milo Baughman 1188 chair was designed in 1968 for Thayer Coggin and is still in production today. This pair does not have a tag and hence age is hard to determine; but, the upholstery seems to be of the early era. This vintage pair of 1188 chairs are in great visual condition however, there have been some repairs. One chair was welded where the seat meets the legs and has darkening in that spot which is approximately 1/2 inch in size. The other chair was repaired not with welding but with hidden angle brackets installed. The white upholstery has no wear just needs a little shampoo! We have not tried to redo any of the repairs or clean the upholstery. We leave that to the buyer to decide what they would like to do.
