Here for your pleasure is an absolutely fabulous unsual and unique set of 4 real bamboo Asian dining chairs. Totally constructed of actual bamboo (even the seat slats are bamboo) these chairs have a lot of strenth in style, character and construction. Even though they creak and crack and look a little fragile they are very well made and strong. I would say the size of the bamboo used is more of a construction bamboo. The legs and seat edge are made of one piece of bamboo that is cut on the underside and bent to create a front leg, the seat edge, and a back leg. So wonderful. And, there is no visible form of attachment other than slits and slots in the bamboo. Let the photos speak for themselves on how cool these chairs are. We know nothing for sure about the age, what the Asian writing says or what country they are from; but, we do know they are fabulous! And we feel they are 20th century and from China. None are identical. In our showroom I place a pillow in the seat for more comfort and very versital look. You can add your own spark of color.
We have only included individual photos of one chair but can add or send photos of the other three if needed. Condition is the same and very good on all chairs.
