Is brown the new black yet? If not, it should be soon. I fell in love with this set of four cantilever armchairs the moment I saw them. Their beautiful deep chocolate brown original hopsack fabric with button detail and the contrasting silver of their chrome frame is simply stunning. And the all wood armrests are the piece de resistance. This set has their original tag letting us know they were made by Delwood Furniture United Chair Division; however, they are in the style of both the much loved and successful Steelcase 451chair and the Charles Pollack office/desk chair by Knoll. Except this set has the ever-comfortable cantilever frame. I am not sure there is a more comfortable chair around. These would be perfect in your mid-century, modern, or industrial living room complementing a beautiful streamlined sofa. Or mix them with your modern country or mountain home décor and use them in a dining room or at a game table. I am sure there are a dozen other styles and places they would be incredible. You just need to make them yours!

Handsome set of four (4) chrome cantilever armchairs with brown hopsack upholstery and wood arm rests by Delwood Furniture United Chair Division in the style of Steelcase or Charles Pollack. They are in fabulous vintage condition. Their original upholstery has been professionally cleaned, their chrome cleaned, and their wood arms cleaned and oiled. We have found no outstanding flaws, but the arms do have some signs of use. We call that a beautiful patina. Please see photos. Circa 1970 – 1980.
