Beautiful set of 4 antique Victorian rosewood dining chairs in the manner of Gillows. Each chair has an exceptionally attractive waisted balloon back and carved horizontal center splat along with a gorgeous pair of turned front legs. The warm tones in the rosewood and their smooth finish beg you to reach out and touch them. With their stuff over seats having been recently upholstered in a great green and deep navy blue stripe fabric, these chairs did not survive over 100 years without some nicks and scratches in the wood but they are in overall fabulous condition and ready to use.
