This small simple square side table is but one of the many pieces of mid-century modern furniture we are offering this week, last week, and in the weeks to come from a fabulous mid-century modern estate. When we walked into this museum-like home and saw all its original mid-century modern furnishings and art it took my breath away. This little occasional table is not marked but reminds us of the Thayer Coggin and Flair furniture it was paired with. It is comprised of a square wood stock cube-shaped frame with a piece of wood inserted into the frame for the top and the bottom, but the sides of its cube-shape are all open. This is a perfect little table to move around easily and provide a place for a cocktail or cup of coffee; and, the bottom shelf is a great place for a stack of books or magazines. It’s petite in size but big in style! You need to make it yours.
