Vintage Chinoiserie Hand Carved Rosewood 3-Piece Office Set Desk Credenza & Desk Chair from Bangkok Thailand

What an EXQUISITE trio from Thailand!!! We have a PHENOMENAL three-piece set consisting of a credenza, a desk, and a desk chair from Bangkok, Thailand. Let’s start with the credenza which could easily be used as a buffet or a cabinet. It is comprised of gorgeous Rosewood featuring two large front doors with solid bronze dragon handles and intricately hand carved sides and door fronts embellished with birds, flowers, and little squirrels among the vines. It is STUNNING!! There is a single shelf behind the left door and open space in the center. The right door hides three drawers exhibiting bronze drop handles with Asian designs and brass locks for which we have had keys made. Carved meander and other details, much like the door fronts and ends of cabinet, surround the base, and it stands upon wonderful claw feet. The back of the credenza has a clean, lovely finish and could float beautifully in a room if you wish. Next, let’s talk about this AMAZING desk. It is also comprised of fantastic Rosewood featuring two large front doors with push latches and intricately hand carved door and drawer fronts, sides, and privacy panel embellished with the matching details of birds, flowers, and little squirrels among the vines. It is STUNNING!! Behind each door is a file drawer on the bottom and a shallow drawer above all, with carved finger pulls. Three drawers with solid bronze drop pulls grace the front of the desk with a larger center drawer and two smaller side drawers. It has fabulous sleigh style legs, corner guards with onion shaped finials, and it is finished all around so it can float BEAUTIFULLY in a room if you wish. It has adequate space for all your office supplies and its breathtaking details are undeniably incredible. And last, but certainly NOT least… this marvelous desk chair. It is also comprised of stunning Rosewood and intricately hand carved, curved sides and chair back embellished with the matching birds, flowers, and little squirrels among the vines. It. Is… BREATHTAKING!!! It has a 4 prong aluminum base with unique, almost ½ ball casters, a steel shaft, and we have added two lovely silk down filled throw pillows with black embroidered designs and corner tassels which we will include upon purchase unless otherwise specified. We call it a desk chair, but it would honestly be beautiful extra seating in many spaces… just roll it into any room you choose. (pssssst the previous owner told us these pieces were custom made for his parents while living in Bangkok!)
