Although this vintage blonde buffet by Sligh Furniture Company’s Cross Country line is Mid Century Modern its style is so timeless and relevant right now. The opposing vertical and horizontal planks for the door and drawer fronts are so interesting paired with the invisible no handle method of opening and closing. The Cross Country line by Sligh was touted to be one of their best-selling lines and I can see why. This cabinet is in great vintage condition with its blonde finish but could look awesome redone in an ebony or dark brown finish as well. Cool versatile piece. It can, obviously, be used for its original intension as a buffet but would make a nice TV/entertainment stand or a bedroom storage piece or use it in an entry hall. This is just a very nice Mid Century Modern cabinet.
