These might just be the perfect modern counter height bar stool. The are comprised of a square wood frame that has a black painted finish with brass clad footrails. The arms slope downward from the back and curve into the seat frame. The front seat support has a rounded surface which is easy on the back of the legs while seated. The upholstery is a neutral tan with a russet colored small diamond pattern. It is somewhat dated but attractive. We have priced them accordingly. These will be fabulous at your kitchen island or high table eating area. Or you could use them at an entertainment bar in your family or great room. They are beautiful, very well made, and sturdy. You need to make them yours.

Vintage Modern Black Painted Brass & Upholstered Counter Height Bar Stools, a Pair

Handsome pair of modern counter height bar stools with a black painted frame, square brass foot rungs, and upholstered seat and back made by Stewart Furniture Manufacturing Co., Inc. for Beverly Interiors. They are in wonderful vintage condition. They have been restored with a new coat of black paint and the brass has been cleaned and clear coated. The upholstery is in good condition as well. Please see photos. Circa 1990s.
NOTE: After writing this and then photographing it we find that a stain in the fabric of one of the stools shows up in the photos; however, with the naked eye we could not see that. We have cleaned the front and back of the back several times and still, in photos only as far as we can tell, there is a stain. We have priced these accordingly.
