This interesting pair of Baker Furniture Co. round end tables in a Georgian style comes from one of their oldest lines of furniture called Old World. Old world was introduced in 1931; however, the Baker Furniture brass tag inside the drawer dates these tables to after 1940 and we believe this pair to be issued circa 1960. These distinctive round tables each have a single drawer in their apron which is supported on elegant elongated legs with pad feet and the top of each leg is decorated with a lappet. The wood is cut in such an interesting and decorative way we are having a hard time determining wood species. Walnut? Pecan? Cherry? These simple yet elegant tables are in wonderful vintage condition. The top has some fading from someone having a lamp, I assume, sitting in the same spot over the years otherwise like new condition.
