What a FABULOUS piece of vintage Scandinavian Modern excellence!!! This is a wonderful 2-piece display cabinet or bookcase comprised of teak veneer. The lower buffet features beautiful bypass doors with teak handles and when opened there is a teak shelf on one side and full height opening on the other. It has a newly modified recessed black painted base as it encountered water at some point in its life and could not be refinished so we revamped it and modified the base. We have also added a wonderful black painted shelf between the buffet and hutch, and it looks incredible!! The top hutch has one shelf with two openings on the left and two shelves with three openings on the right. Perfect to place your books and/or items of décor. It is an absolutely gorgeous example of versatile Scandinavian Modern exquisiteness! This awesome bookcase, display cabinet, or china hutch will look amazing whether you place it in the dining room, living room, or the kitchen. Use it to display the priceless china you inherited from your grandmother or your book collection in the study. Gorgeous vintage Scandinavian Modern adjustable 2-piece display cabinet, bookcase, or china hutch. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. The base of the cabinet encountered water at some point and has been modified. The teak “foot” of the cabinet was removed, and a black painted wood recessed foot base was added. We have also added a black painted wood shelf between the buffet and hutch and some veneer repairs have been made. Please see photos and zoom in for details. We attempt to portray any imperfections.
