This heraldic style set is simply fantastic. An incredible vintage Maltese cross brooch and clip earring demiparure set signed ART©. Consisting of silvertone filigree with faux turquoise, simulated pearls, blue faux sapphire cabochons, and rhinestones. This set is in excellent vintage condition. The condition is so wonderful you would think it was made yesterday instead of circa 1960. ART© jewelry is the product of Arthur Pepper and very similar in style and quality of Florenza costume jewelry. In fact, according to Larry Kasoff, the son of Florenza’s founder, his father and Arthur Pepper were close friends. Arthur Pepper and ART© are known for their fabulous Maltese cross designs using filigree metal work, plastic, rhinestones, metal and enamel in the most unlikely and unusual combinations. Besides the fact ART© used excellent quality materials, connoisseurs of the day treasured their ART© jewelry, which explains the excellent preservation of most vintage pieces . Sets like this are rarely available which makes them highly sought after. This one should be yours!
