Wow! These architectural antique window guards are incredible! Or are they wall urn planters? Or window boxes? I’m not sure what to say they are except fabulous!! As window guards they would be rather narrow. But I visualize the wonderful building they once adorned and am in awe. I can also imagine them stuffed with moss and overflowing with flowers. Or, maybe you will mount them to the wall and add a piece of glass for a long wonderful hall table! The ideas are endless. They are comprised of hand wrought flat iron bars that are bent and curled forming a gorgeous vase shape. With a bulbous bottom that flows upward and is cinched in at the neck and flares out at the top ending in spiraled curls. They are in fabulous condition with a magnificent age patina. Their hand made hand forged process is evident in their slightly differing sizes. Please make them yours and tell me what you have done with them!
