Description
This is an incredibly interesting and handsome piece of furniture. A gorgeous credenza made of weathered cherry, brass, and travertine. The cabinet is lifted off the floor with six square brass tube legs and crossbars and boasts two pairs of double opening doors. The doors have a beautiful flat panel design with the panel being burlwood. No hardware adorns the doors leaving the fabulous wood as the focal point. Behind the doors on the right are three long drawers. The doors on the left cover a large storage space with one shelf. The top has three travertine stone inserts with a brass trimmed edge. The hutch sits atop the credenza by a full wood back and square tube brass supports. It has four doors with beveled glass for display and two panels with woven wire inserts. Again, as with the credenza’s doors, they are paneled and no hardware. There are small drawers immediately below the doors and a safety three-sided fence on the top to prevent displayed items from falling off. There is so much attention to detail with this piece that, along with the high-quality construction, it will become a family heirloom. Its mid-century lines with classical styling make this a very versatile piece and appropriate with many design styles. We know you love it. Make it yours.
