Description
This sofa is a really interesting and incredible find! It is comprised of the dark Ranch Oak finish frame with bowtie shaped keyhole sides and wonderful tapered flat arms. Its original wildly floral fabric is either incredibly wonderful or perfectly ugly!!! Whether it is wonderful or ugly to you, it is in terrific condition and could be used. It has rusty orange or burnt orange flowers and olive-green leaves with the surprise of a turquoise or teal colored hydrangea blossom here and there. Although this sofa does not have the A. Brandt Ranch Oak tag, I have seen identical sofas and chairs with the A. Brandt tag, so our attribution is solid information. A. Brandt Company was established in 1900 but the Ranch Oak furniture debuted in Fort Worth, Texas in 1938 and continued until the mid-1980s. They were used in ranch homes, mountain homes, dude ranches, and basement rec rooms across the nation. This sofa with its extra high back and semi-attached buttoned back cushions is very comfortable and will be perfect in your western styled home or cabin or your industrial country loft. You just need to make it yours.
