This is a marvelous Antique large scale cast plaster foliate and shell design mirror with its original antique beautifully distress mirror glass in the style of Serge Roche. The frame was originally white but has been given a bronzed paint effect and any flaws in the plaster only add to its charm. I believe this type of plaster mirror was originally “plastered” into the wall and, as you can see from the photos, the mirror glass is plastered into the frame. It is nothing short of MARVELOUS!!! Because of its beautifully distressed mirror surface it is more of a decorative piece than utilitarian, however, it would be wonderful on a wall above a console table, over your mantel, or in your bedroom dressing area. This is it. Just the mirror you have been searching for…. We call this Art Deco, Hollywood Regency, or Neo Classic Revival. You should call it YOURS!!!!!!!
