Wonderful floating tuxedo style sofa done in the manner of Milo Baughman for Thayer Coggin. This sofa is in great vintage circa 1970s condition. There are some chips to the veneer on the bottom edge of the recessed platform base; however, they are only noticeable upon close inspection. And, although the fabric is clean and in usable condition, we have priced this sofa as a frame only.

This floating tuxedo sofa is made in the style of famed modernist Milo Baughman for his design done for the great mid-century modern furniture maker Thayer Coggin. Consisting of a level arm and back sofa with three loose back and seat cushions perched on a rectangular recessed base of teak veneer. This sofa is usable as is but I am visualizing it in a dark charcoal men’s suiting fabric. How handsome would that be? Don’t hesitate to make this piece your own.
