HOLY GUACAMOLE!!!! LOL… Oh, MAN!!! We absolutely love these dining chairs by D-SCAN!!!! This is a MARVELOUS set of four vintage Scandinavian Modern dining chairs comprised of lovely teak frames with straight lines including straight square tapered back legs that double as the seat back sides and hold the slightly splayed back rest & wonderful square seat cushions held with a floating effect inside an innovative square seat frame. The seat cushions are covered in an AWESOME avocado green fabric while the back rests are wearing a wonderful upholstery embellished with images of actual avocados… It kind of makes me want a bowl of tableside GUACAMOLE!!!! MMMmmmmmm!!! LOL! Just kidding… well, kind of!! Actually, we LOVE the look… and they can certainly be used this way however, some may wish to reupholster as we know they were upholstered with love and care, but we aren’t sure they were crafted by a professional. But we never consider reupholstering as a bad thing! I mean, just THINK of the fabric options!! LIMITLESS options!!! They are simply SCREAMING with quintessential Scandinavian Modern magnificence and are sure to make a bold statement in any room. D-Scan was founded in 1968 and began producing Scandinavian style furniture in Singapore in the mid 1970’s. They were known for their high-quality, functional, and minimalist designs. They opened a plant in south Boston in 1988 where they operated as part of Tvilum-Scanbrik, a Danish manufacturer of ready-to-assemble furniture that was acquired by Masco in 2000. The company was eventually phased out.
