Talk about SPECTACULAR SUCCULENTS!!! WOW!!! This magnificent wall hanging is a beautiful display of jute fiber blend that has been woven, weaved, boucle, knotted, fringed, baste stitched, and layered to create an incredible trio of Cacti that simply takes your breath away. It has an I.C.A. copyright tag on the front and try as we may… I mean… like, pulling our hair out trying… LOL, we have not been able to verify I.C.A. or the artist for this piece. There are many similar tapestries on the internet attributing their pieces to Don Freedman and it certainly reflects the influence of his work but we cannot verify that… no matter, as it is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!! It features intricate detailing composed of jute, wool, art silk, wood, and cotton. It features three potted cacti… a tall one in the center with flared leaves, a tall spine, and a lovely red, white, & pink blossom, a darker green spiky, prickly perennial on the left, and a bulbous beauty topped with a gold blossom on the right. They are sitting upon a thick woven “shelf” and wavy, knotted flowing fringe along the bottom. It is 39 x 39 and ¾ thick so it is sizeable and will be stunning on any wall in your home. It would look fabulous above a bed or sofa, over a credenza, or on the wall along the stairway. It has a modern, bohemian style and will add great texture to any room. Call them cactus, call them cacti, or call them succulents… but whatever you choose to call this marvelous wall hanging… don’t “poke around” about it… call it YOURS!!!
