Description
This jug is LARGE and IN CHARGE!!! We LOVE it!! This is a spectacular vintage Tribal clay fermenting pot, water jug, or decorative storage vessel with beautiful goatskin leather straps and a metal stand. It’s very similar to the vintage Tarahumara ollas or water jugs which were hand made by the Tarahumara Indian Tribes but because it is not marked, we cannot confirm that… but no matter, it is FABULOUS just as it is!! At 23 inches tall (25” on the stand!), it is large scale and would look INCREDIBLE on the floor or maybe on a console in the entry way. We think it looks spectacular empty but if you want you could fill it with dried pampas grass, bamboo, or any faux plant or greenery of your choice. If you REALLY want to use it as a vessel for real, living foliage, you will need to line it with a protectant so you can add water. It could also be a wonderful addition to your patio, deck, or balcony; however, you wouldn’t want to leave it out in extremely cold or freezing temperatures, it would probably break but it’s fine to be in warmer elements! It’s exactly what you’ve been looking for to complete that Tribal flair your home and decor has been begging for! Do it! Make it YOURS!!!
