This is one of the most beautiful console and mirror sets I’ve ever had. It’s antique Asian Chinoiserie look is perfect for today’s decors whether your style is Asian or not. It looks incredible with everything from mid-century modern to traditional and everything in between. It would even look awesome in your industrial loft! The set is comprised of a tall narrow and shallow console table and tall narrow mirror. Which is just right for a small entry! Both are heavily lacquered in black and deeply hand carved with Asian figures and florals. Some of the figures and scenes are colored with Chinese red, greens, and golds. The carvings are in panels on the front and ends of the table and the top of the mirror. The mirror also has a gorgeous carved edge around the complete frame. We believe this to be mid-19th to early 20th century but cannot be certain. It could be older but definitely is not newer. Its lacquer finish has a handsome patina that can only happen from age and use. Its natural distressing is simply stunning. Make this delightful antique set yours!!
