Description
We are in love with the lines and look of this fabulous Art Deco chair. The original finish on the wood is its original blue-gray washed stain and bears all the related dings and scrapes and nicks you would expect on a much used and loved chair of its age. They only make for a gorgeous overall patina. The original black leather seat has no tears or holes but does have some cracking that, in our opinion, just adds to the warmth and beauty of the well-worn leather. The chairs slender rollback is cinched in at the seat back and flairs out at its front edge giving the impression of a corseted female form. The front legs have a slight cabriole curve but with a sharp angled edge and no adornment. I feel when looking at it that it might suddenly start walking toward me or should be up on the fashion runway. Can you tell I adore this lovely chair? Its been in our private collection for many years and now it’s time for others to enjoy it. You should make it yours.
