Very cool mid-century modern Atomic Age lamp in taupe and gray with orange and off-white biomorphic shape designs on its hourglass base. In great vintage condition with some imperfections as would be expected. New off-white semi-drum shade. Circa 1950s.

Description

With its fabulous biomorphic shaped designs on its ceramic hourglass shaped base, this lamp is a perfect example of the mid-century modern Atomic Age. However, its nice new semi-drum shade, in off white to bring out the off white in the biomorphic shapes, brings it into the 21st century and makes it so today! The taupe and gray of the ceramic base blend together and are accented with the orange and off white of the biomorphic shapes scattered about. The ceramic hourglass body sits on a black wood base and the whole lamp is topped with a stainless ball finial. There are a few scratches and marks on the ceramic base (which I have not tried to do anything with). Even so, it is in wonderful vintage condition.
