I love the simplicity of this gorgeous lamp. Done in the International Style and after designs by Walter von Nessen who was a leader in this streamline industrial design style. Especially in lighting. It is comprised of a cylindrical metal base which is covered in beautiful black faux leather and highlighted by a round chrome base and top. It has a chrome shaft protruding from the cylinder base to the socket. And retains its original off-white faux silk drum shade which is trimmed in black fabric. The totality is topped with a black cylindrical finial. It is absolute perfection!
