An amazing mid-century modern large almost monumental sized lamp with a sunflower yellow ceramic with partial lava glaze urn shaped base and a black pleated shade. It is in wonderful vintage condition. The foot has been restored and repainted and we have added a new cord and socket, so it is ready to use. There are small glaze chips to the vase body which seem to us to be inherent to the glaze. The shade was painted once so we repainted. Please see photos. You may choose to have us ship the shade or not. It is priced accordingly. Please let us know. Circa 1950s-1960s.

Description

Sunshine or sunflower yellow make for a delightful mid-century lamp! Its large ceramic vase shaped base wears a beautiful yellow glaze with brown and black mottling and portions of lava glaze scattered about. The curvaceous vase body sets on a black painted metal base. It is topped with a black hard pleated and tapered shade which seems to suit the lamps shape well but is not new. You may have the shade or not. Just let us know when making your purchase. This incredible lamp will brighten up a dark corner even without turning it on! You need to make it yours.
