You simply can’t beat a beautiful piece of art… and folks… you MUST BEHOLD THIS BEAUTY!!! WOW!!! This is a fabulous diptych piece of mixed media paper artwork created by C. Robert Boreman marked 1/1 of II on the lower left corner and signed on the lower right corner of each piece. It is composed of exquisite blue, white, black, and a tiny splash of yellow abstract designs, encased inside a fabulous plexiglass shadow box. With measurements of 67 inches long, 49 inches tall, and 2 inches deep… it is large scale to say the least!! For those that may not be familiar with the term diptych, it simply means “a work of art composed of two panels or sections that are intended to be viewed as a single piece.” This gorgeous piece is just that… 2 paper mixed media images placed side by side with abstract illustrations that although separate, come together to conceive this masterful and complex creation. So… what is it? Is it a raging thunderstorm at sea thrashing across the ocean consumed with blasts of lightning strikes, crashing thunder, exploding winds, and gushing rains… a huge ship tossed around like a tiny toy through the rogue waves… or is it a calm day at the lake floating gently across the soft waves in your paddle boat as you gaze up at the angelic blue sky, beams from the sun peeking through a single delicate cloud is warm on your face and a gentle breeze whispers through your hair as you enjoy the sound of silence on the water… Well??? Which is it?? That’s the beauty of abstract art… it can be both!! Or… whatever you want it to be!! It would be stunning in an entry way, above your bed in the master bedroom, on the wall in your living or family room, or in your dining area on a large wall. It’s Contemporary Abstract in style and sure to make a BIG, BOLD, BEAUTIFUL statement on whatever wall it’s placed.
