This is a GORGEOUS pair of vintage Modern, with a bit of Art Deco Revival influence, end tables by Henredon comprised of cylindrical shaped frames with stunning round tops bearing a circular burl inlay trimmed with brass detail and rounded black lacquered edges. Each end table or nightstand has a door with a dark burl wood half-moon shaped finger pull with brass trim and a single shelf behind the door. They have round inset toe-kick style black lacquered bases and they are PHENOMENAL!!! Just take another look at the MAGNIFICENT wood grain and contrasting tones… talk about incredible!! And they are versatile!! They will be marvelous whether used as end tables in your living room on each side of your sofa, as nightstands beside the bed in your bedroom, or in the family room floating as storage cabinets or accent tables as they are beautifully finished all around. Henredon was founded in 1945 by four Drexel Heritage executives; T. Henry Wilson, Ralph Edwards, Donnell VanOppen, and Sterling Collet. The name Henredon is a combination of their names. These four men were determined to build furniture of custom quality and their original offering was only three chests. It has since blossomed into hundreds of designs still in keeping with their goal. Through the years they have engaged well-known designers to create their unique and fine furniture. They currently are part of the company Furniture Brands, Inc. but still embracing their long-standing tradition of fine furniture craftsmanship and reputation for timeless elegance.
