Early 1970’s he established a small workshop and also became the co-founder, designer, and President of a factory of artistic & utilitarian ceramics called Artesa. In 1988, he left the factory to open his own workshop and gallery known as “E. Vega Galeria Taller.” Today, along with his son Juan Guillermo Vega, also a ceramist, they welcome visitors and host local and foreign tourists in their private gallery.
