Lovely vintage MCM (a.k.a. mid-century modern) green velvet sloped arm sofa with oval arm bolster pillows, walnut trim, and turned, round tapered walnut finished wood legs. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. There are two holes on the sofa deck. 1 almost in the center left and 1 in the left back corner. There is also a hole on the left cushion back corner trim. It was missing a middle back leg, so we turned and created one to replace it. It has been professionally cleaned, however, there are several areas with stubborn stains including the upper back and front center. Although we love the celery green fabric most will want to recover, and it is priced accordingly. Please see photos and zoom in for details. We attempt to portray any imperfections. This is a lovely, sloped arm sofa comprised of a fabulous celery green colored velvet fabric wrapped around two loose zippered foam seat and two back cushions, oval shaped bolster pillows, and a lovely trim piece with a walnut finish around the base, above the skirt of the sofa. It might be fun to remove the skirt and expose the sofa’s gorgeous turned tapered round wood legs with a fancy ring above the foot. And although we LOVE the fabulous celery green velvet fabric, it retains a bit of wear and a few stubborn stains, so some may want to reupholster. It has a partial tag from Shorewood Furniture addressed in Topeka KS., and it is mid-century modern to Hollywood Regency in style, but it will blend in beautifully with many styles of décor. Plus, it’s SUPER COMFORTABLE and it is going to look marvelous in your living room, family room, or the den flanking the fireplace.
