Ansanger Mobler was a smaller Scandinavian furniture company founded in 1922 and was known for their solid craftsmanship and expertise in woodworking production skills. Most designs were created by the company owners inspired by both tradition and present market trends. Customers were also consulted and could request custom-made designs. From 1950 through 1970 the company thrived and benefitted from the innovation of Danish design, and especially in the 60s to mid-70s they had a global export of mostly dining furniture. They were family owned for three generations until they fell into economic hardships in the late 1970’s into the 1980’s, eventually permanently closing in 2013.
