Holy cow! When I look at this sofa it takes me back to every Saturday morning of my childhood watching Roy Rogers or The Lone Ranger! I imagine every dude ranch in the western states having one of these. Or many a mid-century family room or basement rec room! This one is comprised of those fab wagon wheel arms and has the most incredible applique of a cowboy riding his faithful steed and roping a longhorn steer. What more could you want? Oh, yes, a convertible sofa and that’s what you have here; the back lowers to provide a sofa sleeper. Luckily, the back with all the western cowboy detail is in great shape as are the wagon wheel arms. But then, herein lies the problem. There are two larger repairs to the vinyl of the seat top left end and one to the seat skirt left corner. I could live with It; but some of you won’t be able to do so. However, herein lies the good news…the seat could be reupholstered in a nice bright red to match part of the applique or in a complementary brown blending with the tan of the background of the sofa back. Whether you use it as is in all its glory or redo the seat….you need to make it yours!
