Gorgeous Mid Century 1950’s Hollywood Regency or Art Deco style crushed red velvet chaise lounge with wood legs. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. Legs have been newly painted black. The velvet has age-appropriate wear and a few small tears in the back of the chaise and there are a few spots where you can see through the velvet on the lower front corner. Although we love the distressed red crushed velvet, you may wish to recover. It is priced accordingly. Please see photos and zoom in for details. We attempt to portray any imperfections. LOVE IS IN THE AIR!!! Well, it is for us here at the shop!! We have DEFINITELY fallen hard in love (and bet you have too!) with this absolutely awesome crushed red velvet chaise lounge. It’s got a classic 1950’s rounded end on one side and one arm and throw pillow on the other. The squared rectangle back and seat have button detail and as wonderful as the fabric is, it does have some wear and a few small tears in the back that are definitely worth repairing, or using as is, if you love the velvet as much as we do. But we have priced it as needing recovered. We see signs this may have been originally covered in a lovely mohair…it could be again. It stands lovely on round tapered black painted wood legs and has a mix of mid-century modern, Hollywood Regency, and Art Deco style. It’s going to be GORGEOUS in your living room or in a sitting room next to a great a floor lamp. It would also be wonderful in a bedroom or maybe flanking a fireplace where you can cuddle up with your sweetie or enjoy a book all by yourself! It’s bold and it’s beautiful and it simply MUST be yours!!
