Description
Such a handsome silhouette on this petite pair of mid century modern upholstered lounge chairs. They are done in the style of famed designers Harvey Probber, Edward Wormley for Dunbar or Milo Baughman for Thayer Coggin. Each chair is comprised of a tufted back and should have a loose seat cushion; however, the original ones on this pair were far beyond use. Both are endowed with many nice designer details such as their modified tuxedo styling with sloping arm fronts and nicely tapered wood legs under their skirts, making them able to be reupholstered without a skirt if desired. They retain their original label stating they are from Vargas Fine Furnishings. And, since Vargas was in my hometown of Topeka, Kansas, I can tell you must be of the finest quality of their time. Vargas carried only the best in furnishings. This great pair are anxious for their new covering and they will look fabulous whether its bold and bright or subtle and neutral. The sky’s the limit, just make them yours.
