Description
Whoa! These barrel chairs are literally made from a barrel!! And get a look at that upholstery. Incredible! These chairs were made circa 1960s and 1970s by Brothers of Kentucky out of actual whiskey barrels cut apart, padded, upholstered, and put on a swivel base. And then there is the upholstery. Wow! Black Naugahyde vinyl with an argyle multi-colored diamond pattern. An ad for Brothers in the Daily News from Port Angeles, Washington circa 1975 said: Formal and fussy furnishings are fine for company…but for the kids and dad to really relax…well, you need something like this from BROTHERS of Kentucky. Built for fun, built for comfort, built to last! Don’t wonder where the kids are…they’ll be having fun at home. I can think of so many places and ways you could use these unique and wonderful chairs. You need to make them yours.
