Description
This is an outstanding pair of antique ginger jars with the double circle Kangxi mark and decorated with a profusion of prunus blossoms. They are in wonderful antique condition no chips, cracks or repairs. Each is slightly different in size and design but they have been a pair for a long time. Most likely from the 19th century or Qing dynasty. This pair comes from an estate from which the grandfather was the Chief Medical Officer of the Panama Canal during the first half of the 20th century and these were obtained there at that time.
