Description
Talk about comfort and style all wrapped into one!! These armchairs are just what you’ve been looking for!! We have an ongoing discussion with divided thoughts on the wood in which these beauties are comprised of. Some say walnut and some say teak. We know for sure that they are made by Madison Furniture Industries located in Canton, Mississippi where they do brag about their beautiful “Mississippi walnut,” but there is a hint of teak with these chairs that cannot be denied. It is also well known that Arthur Umanoff designed for Madison Furniture Industries in the 60’s but we are not sure that he was involved with this design. Although they do bear a beautiful, sculpted backrest that illuminates impeccable style. Either way, they are solid, sturdy, comfortable and highly stylish. They are beautifully upholstered in a goldish yellow faux leather vinyl and would look stunning in any room in your mid-century modern, industrial, modern country, or contemporary home. You need to make them yours!!
